I really love my Casio VL-1 both in terms of sound and design. It’s a classic in my eyes. Just look at it!
So when I saw the upcoming OP-1 from Swedish Teenage Engineering, it was obvious to me where they got their inspiration. And both units look amazing. I can’t wait to try the OP-1 out.

I was at this exhebition at Park Avenue Armory with Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto, and it was probably one of the best installations I have ever experienced. You should check him out if you get the chance.

These cassette tape inserts take me back to my childhood - design can be so extremely simple, cool and timeless.
